Shoot with Mina Javaherbin
Recently did a shoot with author Mina Javaherbin. Her new kids’ book Goal! is being released in April and she wanted a few new photos of herself for marketing purposes. Check out her facebook fan page when you have a chance. Very funny, smart and talented woman.
Another Product Shoot for Local T-Shirt Company
For this shoot, I had to bring along my mobile studio to the an off-site location. Worked out pretty well, even though we didn’t have a lot of space to work with.
Local Wellness Center
Recently did a shoot for Brenda Carbone and Mark Stevens of O2 Wellness in San Clemente. They needed some interior shots and a few environmental business portraits for marketing purposes. O2 Wellness was recently featured in San Clemente Journal. Check it out. Very nice people. Lots of good vibing.
Business Portraiture
I did a portrait sitting with a business executive a few weeks ago. Just getting around to posting a few examples.
Product Shoot
Did a product shoot for a San Clemente t-shirt and novelty company. The face has been cropped out to protect the innocent.
Artist Audry Winkler
Local San Clemente artist Audry Winkler hired me to photograph some of her paintings for her portfolio. I really like her work, and she’s truly a nice person. More examples can be seen at this link.
Pacific Seafood Grill – San Clemente
Recently did a little commercial shoot for Pacific Seafood Grill, a great new restaurant in San Clemente. They’re going to be selling T-Shirts soon, so the owner, George Parra, asked to take a few shots for the website. See examples below:
My Photos of Drew Brophy Featured in Pinstriping & Kustom Graphics Magazine
Did this shoot back in June. Here’s the article.
Drew Brophy – Surf Expo
Drew used a couple of photos from our shoot (see June 10 post) for an ad he put together for Surf Expo. Check it out. Bottom two photos are mine.
Shoot with Artist Drew Brophy
I did a photo shoot last week for Drew Brophy, an incredible San Clemente artist with an international following. He’s working on a project with a van rental company named Escape Camper Vans, and he wanted me to capture the process of painting a van from conception to completion. See pics below.

My Work Installed at New Medical Research Facility

Sorry I haven’t posted anything recently. I’ve been busy completing my latest project for a new clinical research facility in Anaheim. Here’s the press release announcing the opening:
Advanced Clinical Research Institute Press Release
I met the owners, Dr. Dennis Riff and his wife, Gail Riff, at a Laguna Beach art show over a year ago, where they were kind enough to ask if I’d be interested in providing some pieces for their new medical building. Of course, I said “yes”, and they ultimately, and very generously, purchased 36 framed pieces. Deb did all of the framing (beautifully, if not somewhat profanely), and I hung them over the last two weeks at the building (my expletives were mostly of the under-the-breath variety).
I took a few quick snaps after completing the project – see below – hope to take a few more shots at the grand opening.
