Monthly Newsletter – January 2009

After a very busy end-of-year work blitz, January has been a bit slow. Deb and I have been using the downtime to update/retool the biz. Here are a few things we've been working on:

WEBSITE REDESIGN

I ordered my webmaster/wife to redesign my site (www.MichaelRFoley.com). In addition to the cosmetic make-over, she's added quite a bit of new content. Take a look when you have a chance. By the way, Deb is a budding website designer, so if you need a website at an affordable price . . .

NEW BLOG

I don't know if you've noticed, but just about every photographer in the world has a blog. Lemming that I am, I decided to set one up too. I'm not sure how to approach it yet – maybe a photo-blog parody of sorts. But mostly, it'll be about what I'm up to, written in a somewhat self-loathing style. NEW STUDIO

We've done a little in-house move. Our studio is now in a much larger space to accommodate family portraits. Yes, that's me in my turn-of-the-century horseless carriage riding gear. Don't ask.
